Description

PLEX Solutions, A Part of Markon is looking for a Cyber Systems Engineer to support a SETA Program in the Arlington, VA area.

Responsibilities
  • As a Systems Engineer (Cyber), you will provide technical analysis, capability integration, and program management support to advance cyber capability development and acquisition initiatives.

  • Provide technical and analytical support and capability development and acquisition processes.

  • Conduct capability analyses by evaluating emerging technologies and mapping solutions to Principal Cyber Advisor (PCA) requirements, developing recommendations that support senior leadership decision-making.

  • Perform technical assessments of capability documentation, including Initial Capability Documents (ICDs), Capability Needs Statements (CNS), and other requirements and acquisition artifacts to support capability development and investment decisions.

  • Support the development, drafting, staffing, coordination, and approval of industry engagement activities that advance capability development efforts.

  • Engage directly with industry, academia, federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs), and other non-governmental organizations to identify state-of-the-art and emerging cyber capabilities.

  • Plan, orchestrate, and provide logistics support for quarterly Industry Days, technology exchanges, workshops, and other engagement events to foster strategic partnerships and collaborative opportunities.

  • Prepare executive correspondence, meeting requests, read-ahead packages, briefing materials, and meeting readouts in support of senior leader engagements.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance knowledge management tools and tracking mechanisms for the Capability Integration (C&I) team to monitor industry engagements, capability development initiatives, and partnership activities.

  • Monitor industry events, trade shows, conferences, and technology forums, recommending participation opportunities that increase awareness of emerging technologies and strengthen collaboration across government and industry.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate capability development activities, support acquisition planning, and provide technical advice that enables informed decisions regarding future cyber capabilities.

Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM from an accredited university and 12 yrs experience (OR) Masters Degree in STEM and 10 yrs professional experience providing technical and analytical support.

  • 5 yrs of experience serving as a U.S. Government (USG) civilian or military member.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience engaging stakeholders across government and the private sector to identify, evaluate, and advance emerging technology solutions supporting the warfighter, preferably with a focus on cyber capabilities.

  • Experience supporting or building USG-industry coalitions to foster collaboration, information sharing, technology innovation, and development of mission-focused capabilities.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining partnerships among government organizations, industry partners, academia, and other external stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with existing government and private sector partnership models and initiatives that support emerging technology development and cyber capability advancement.

  • Experience supporting cyber capability development, technology assessments, acquisition initiatives, or emerging technology integration efforts.

  • Ability to effectively interface with senior-level government, military, and industry leadership.

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal, interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical support, strategic advice, and analytical recommendations to senior leadership.

Salary RangeUSD $130,000.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
