Systems Engineer 3 - (Dataflow, Confluence, Jira)

Description:

The SE3 candidate will be able to execute the following core tasks:

Position Required Skills:
  • Autonomous Dataflow Plan Engineering: Synthesize high-level operational requirements into detailed, end-to-end dataflow plans, defining ingest points, transformation steps, security/compliance boundary crossings, and destination endpoints.
  • Independent Problem Solution: Analyze and resolve complex dataflow routing issues where standardized documentation or procedures are insufficient or non-existent.
  • Rapid Domain Acquisition: Independently research, analyze, and master new or unfamiliar systems and tools to address emerging operational needs.
  • SOP Adaptation and Knowledge Capture: Leverage existing baseline documentation as a preliminary guide, while synthesizing tailor-made solutions into formal, repeatable procedures and technical recommendations.

Position Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with knowledge management and ticketing tools such as Confluence and Jira to track team progress, identify and address documentation gaps, and maintain comprehensive records of dataflows, workflows, and routing anomalies.


SE3 Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience.

A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience.

A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems engineering experience.

A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience.

Salary Range: $157k-$193k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
