Summary of Role:

Based in Plano, Texas, the Systems Engineering team is seeking a new college graduate to support robotics and intelligent systems development. The engineer will help ensure hardware, software, kinematics, and AI frameworksoperatetogether effectively through system design, integration, validation, and performance optimization.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Perform integrated design and simulation activities using industry-standard tools to evaluate how AI models interact with robotic systems before deployment.

  • Support sensor fusion and perception development by integrating and calibrating vision, touch sensors, and motor-control systems.

  • Contribute to systemrequirementsdefinition and architecture development, including data flows between compute platforms, sensors, motors, and neural-network controllers.

  • Develop prototypes and execute testing and validation activities, including hardware-in-the-loop testing, to ensure reliable real-world performance.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Securityrequirementsand programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education–Graduating with Bachelor’sor Master’s degreeinElectrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, ComputerSciencesor related fieldfrom an accredited degree program. 

  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.

  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.

  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.

  • Strong interest inleveragingAI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.

  • Project management skills,i.e.the ability to innovate and executesolutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong planning & organizational skills

  • Experience with robotics frameworks such as ROS2,MoveIt, or Drake.
