DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a
Systems Engineer 2/3 based out of
Aurora, CO.Position Overview:Performs system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
This role can travel approximately 20% of the time to OCONUS locations with durations lasting approximately 1-2 weeks.
This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.
This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.
This requisition may be filled as either a level 2 or level 3.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; 0 years of relevant experience with a master's degree
- Experience with development of test plans, procedures, and reports (functional testing and checkout)
- Must have experience with Linux and Windows based systems
- Must have experience with software installations utilizing docker
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Experience working with the Atlassian Suite of tools (Confluence, Jira)
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Understanding of entire product lifecycle, modeling and engineering best practices
- Experience with data collection/instrumentation methods
- Experience in troubleshooting anomalous hardware and software
- Must have the ability to travel to OCONUS for 7 to 14 day increments (up to 20% annually)

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
