The Systems Analyst is the internal workflow, data-quality, library-governance, and reporting owner for the Engineering Systems organization. The Systems Analyst manages the controlled transition of product-data packages into the PDM workflow, validates system and metadata completeness, maintains PDM Library and dashboard integrity, and translates workflow and data-quality information into actionable management visibility.
The Systems Analyst reports to the Engineering Systems Manager and works closely with the Product Data Engineer, Project Engineers, TSE, Mechanical Engineering, SMEs, Design Engineering, Manufacturing/Methods, and other process stakeholders. The role supports Engineering Systems mapping, workflow standardization, Lessons Learned reporting, specification-library governance, and continuous improvement.
This role is a full-time position.
What Success Looks Like:
Success in this role provides Prefab NAM with trustworthy workflow visibility, reliable PDM Library information, clear data-quality reporting, controlled handoffs, and early identification of system or process gaps. Leadership and process owners can use the analyst's output to prioritize work, close control gaps, reduce rework, and improve engineering-cycle performance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Control and document the Excel loader handoff into the approved PDM workflow.
- Validate system, metadata, link, and workflow completeness.
- Perform the independent data-quality and systems-control checkpoint before BOM creation.
- Maintain the PDM Library and ensure alignment with controlled PDM records.
- Maintain PDM progress dashboards and workflow-health reporting.
- Develop and maintain data-quality scorecards and missing-field reports.
- Track unique/common part trends, reuse patterns, duplicate risk, and recurring defects.
- Maintain Engineering Systems workflow maps and process documentation.
- Link Lessons Learned to workflow, standards, dashboard, and training improvements.
- Maintain or coordinate the Specification Library process.
- Provide weekly KPI interpretation and actionable recommendations.
- Support PBOM readiness visibility and MBOM data-handoff readiness without owning PBOM or MBOM execution.
- Support independent CN audit or review activities only where proper segregation of duties is maintained.
- Identify recurring process gaps and recommend corrective actions to the Engineering Systems Manager.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3D CAD experience (Creo Preferred)
- Exposure to PLM and PLM Management (Windchill Preferred)
- Strong urge to make an impact and improvement

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 68,000 - USD 102,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
