DescriptionNorthrop Grumman’s Corporate Sector's Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a
Systems Administrator to support its IT Infrastructure & Operations organization.
This position will be virtual and can be performed anywhere within the continental United States.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform as a Messaging System Administrator on large unclassified systems for the Northrop Grumman Enterprise.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral formats.
Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management.
Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.
Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases.
Maintain security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
Prepare security documentation for Cyber Security team.
Work under minimal direction and collaborate with peers to determine and develop approach to solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
2 Years of relevant IT experience with a Bachelors degree, 4 years with an Associates, OR 6 years with a High School Diploma.
Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance as a condition of continued employment.
Must have at server administration experience with Windows server.
Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Exchange on premise or M365 Exchange Online.
Experience with Microsoft Teams.
Solid understanding of diagnosing issues with computing services.
Solid writing skills and research skills for documentation.

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
