Responsibilities:
• Perform system administration functions.
• Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
• Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
• Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
• Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
• Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
• Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
• Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
• Document inventory changes.

Qualifications:

Required:
• Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
• VM experience.
• Security+ cert.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 7 years' experience as a Systems Administrator in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• 3 years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Should have working knowledge, able to use and or support, with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools:
• Dell and HPE Linux servers
• Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Palo Alto firewalls
• Ansible
• Nutanix - VM management

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
