Full Job Description
Title:
Systems Administrator - COMSEC

In this SETA role, you use your expertise to perform Systems Administration for a COMSEC group. A Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) provides technical expertise to the Government. By working hand-in-hand with your Government customer, you'll have the opportunity to influence mission success to a greater degree than anywhere else. If you want a job where you do the same thing every day, this job is not for you. You'll troubleshoot a problem one day and advise the customer on implementation the next.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Upgrades: Perform and document hardware, software, firmware testing & upgrades
  • Troubleshoot: Resolve technical issues & anomalies
  • Maintenance: Perform and document scheduled maintenance, including patches & hotfixes
  • Assessment: vulnerability, document, and mitigate
  • Access: Help users with requests (permissions, access, etc.)
  • Systems: Make recommendations for future systems


Basic Compensation:

$115,000 - $173,000 USD annually

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Work Environment:
  • Location: On-site.
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel.
  • Working Hours: Standard 40 hours per week.


Qualifications: Required:
  • Clearance: Top Secret SCI with Polygraph.
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience as a System Administrator


Desired:
  • Experience: Military / DOD / IC space and ground experience
  • Education: AA or BS in STEM degree
  • Certifications: IAW NRO Directive 50-05, information Assurance Workforce Enhancement Program (IAWEp) category information Assurance Technical level ll (lAT ll) is desired (but not expected).
