Full Job Description
We are actively seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our IT support team. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and managing our software, hardware and networks across all of our sites with a special emphasis on our Government Programs in a CMMC governed environment. This position requires an importance on providing outstanding customer service and will be the last point of issue escalation internally for identifying and resolving system issues. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: • Provide system administration of our cloud and on-premise environments, mainly supporting Government Programs but also supplementing our commercial environment team members • Support all aspects of Microsoft 365 including Entra ID, Azure, and Microsoft Domain Services • Support Windows configuration and security via Microsoft Intune • Support iOS configuration and security via a Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform • Support Linux configuration and security via domain management and RMM tools • Have a working knowledge of tasks such as DNS, certificates, and encryption • Implement system changes as they relate to governance frameworks such as CMMC • Organization of upgrades and maintenance for networks and systems with minimal downtime • Configuration, monitoring and maintenance of backup and replication routines, including documentation and testing • Organization, configuration and implementation of regular disaster recovery drills, with regular review of the procedure and documentation • Monitoring of systems and networking infrastructure using platforms such as PagerDuty • Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems • Provide Tier 2 technical support for all offices and employees • Creation and maintenance of IT-related documentation and training material • Closely collaborate with the Information Security team to remediate vulnerabilities and harden the environment Minimum Qualifications: • 8 years or more managing information systems and networks • Expert level of understanding managing Microsoft 365 cloud offerings • Experience using Powershell, Python, and other languages to script common tasks • Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance Above and Beyond Qualifications: • Expert-level understanding of Conditional Access and other Microsoft Cloud-native security tools • Experience managing on-prem backup solutions • Experience with Fortinet firewalls and networking products • Exposure to Splunk or other SIEM platforms • Ability to administrate/implement Azure cloud services The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role.
