Description
As a System Vulnerability Analyst on our team, you will: support the identification of vulnerabilities and attacks against specific systems. Analyze attack techniques and develop countermeasures. Produce formal and informal reports, and briefings relating to system vulnerability analysis.
Requirements:- Active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph required
- Minimum of (4) years of experience and a Doctoral degree or (6) years of relevant experience and a Master's degree or (8) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or (10) years of relevant experience and an Associate's degree required may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
- Degree must be in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, and Information Security)
- Identify vulnerabilities of and attacks to the design and operation of a system (H/W, S/W, personnel, procedures, logistics, and physical security) by relating vulnerabilities and attacks to effects on operations and missions supported by those systems
- Compare and contrast various system attack techniques and develop operationally effective countermeasures
- Produce formal and informal reports, briefings, and perspectives of actual and potential attacks against the systems or missions being studied
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Identify vulnerabilities and cybersecurity threats to program, functions, products, applications and systems
- OCONUS travel is periodically required - red team experience required.
- Zero Trust experience to CNE, CNO, network infrastructure, architecture and hardening is a plus.
- Leverage HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and other information to assess vulnerabilities and conduct security evaluations
- Analyze and characterize identified vulnerabilities and threats
- Relate identified vulnerabilities and threats and the effects of the operations and missions supported by those systems
- Compare and contrast various cryptographic attack techniques and develop operationally affective countermeasures
- Provide formal and informal reports, briefings, and perspectives of actual and potential attacks
- Collaborate with threat analysts to conduct comprehensive threat assessments of network cryptographic devise, components, and technologies
- Use threat analysis and technical knowledge to provide security guidance and develop mitigations to threats and vulnerabilities
- Ensure secure transmission by designing, evaluating, or modifying encryption schemes or algorithms.
- Apply mathematical or computational methos and lines of reasoning
- Perform security analysis, evaluation and guidance on the design and implementation of cryptographic and communication protocols
