  • Assist in defining functional and system requirements and allocating them to necessary components.
  • Coordinate resolutions for action items from configuration control and review meetings across disciplines.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Team efforts to design new capabilities based on operational evaluations.

Full Job Description
Position Summary:
The Kenjya-Trusant Group is looking for System Engineers to support our customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Business system implementation Risk, Risk management, assessment and research; this includes leading integrated Product Team/Working Group to reduce risks in current and future increments.
  • Perform risk assessment for the major system acquisition related to the integration and deployment of the modernized business systems.
  • Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture
  • (SOA), etc.
  • Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
  • Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination.
  • Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Due to the nature of this position and the information that the employee will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Twenty (20) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
  • Business System interoperability experience.
  • DoDAF architecture experience.
  • Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly.

Additional Details (Task Order 0032):
  • Assist the Acquisition Finance Management (AFM) Program Management Office (PMO) and Integration Lead to develop and execute a Risk Assessment for the Integration and deployment of 20+ business enabling systems.
  • The Risk Assessment will identify risks associated with the grouping/phasing of the business systems into different integration and deployment phases.
  • The Risk Assessment is intended to "buy down" the risks associated with this acquisition program.
  • Familiarity with Risk Assessments associated with COTS products is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Business Systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft, CHI Momentum, SAP NS2 is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Architecture and security is beneficial.
  • Business system implementation Risk, Risk management, assessment and research.
  • This includes leading integrated Product Team/Working Group to reduce risks in current and future increments.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $150,000.00 - $192,000.00.
