Full Job Description
Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases (Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement) across the process areas defined by ISO/IEC 15288. Leads system architecture and integration, engages directly with customers and stakeholders, and communicates technical approaches across engineering, user, and program-management audiences.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED plus fourteen (14) years; OR a Master's degree plus eight (8) years; OR a PhD plus eight (8) years
Core Capabilities (Required):
• System Architecture Leadership: design integration patterns, define API contracts with partner systems, lead technical discussions in cross-program meetings
• Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: interface directly with users/analysts and partner programs, translate operational needs into technical requirements, present capabilities to stakeholders
• Technical Communication: document integration architecture, write customer-facing guides, brief technical approaches to mixed audiences (engineers, users, and PMs)
Desired Skills:
• Data Science/Analytics Architecture: define analytics requirements, design how analysts extract insights from multi-INT data, understand ML/AI feature possibilities
• IC Domain Expertise: SIGINT/RF analyst background, UTT processes, targeting workflows, multi-INT correlation tradecraft
• AI/ML Systems Design: architect AI/ML feature integration (anomaly detection, recommendations, pattern recognition)
• Java/Spring Boot familiarity (read code, collaborate with backend team)
• Experience with integration platforms (NiFi, Camel, messaging systems)
• GraphQL/REST API design experience
• Understanding of data modeling trade-offs (relational vs search indices vs graph)
Clearance:
• TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
