[email protected]SUMMARY OF POSITION:The System Director of Applications Services, Specialty Applications will provide leadership and direction for the Applications Services team and is responsible for strategizing, planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities including service line alignment with Facilities, Marketing, Security & Clinical service lines. Scope of systems infant security, physical security, employee duress, secure texting, patient flow, nurse call integration, quality reporting, and complex architecture, and environment management.
The System Director of Applications Services, Ancillary and Imaging Services serves as a member of the Information Systems Leadership team and reports to the Vice President, Chief Application Officer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum eleven (11) years' experience supporting healthcare applications utilized in hospitals, ambulatory clinics, and academic medical centers (examples: EMR, laboratory, pharmacy, security, radiology, dietary, nurse call, radiation oncology, and learning).
- Five (5) years of management experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):- Proven experience leading successful EHR, Imaging, Advanced Clinicals implementation and optimizations for large Health Systems
- IS Leadership position in Academic Medical Center
- Certification Project Management Institute (PMI) (PMP)
- Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
