Position Responsibilities
  • LEADERSHIP - Acts as an internal consultant to address operational issues with related system functionality/workflow design
  • LEADERSHIP - Does not discuss with outside parties any information that could be considered confidential.
  • LEADERSHIP - Maintains a positive attitude, welcomes and incorporates feedback, and shows appreciation for colleagues, patients, partners and customers in a consistent manner.
  • LEADERSHIP - Demonstrates great teamwork, shares information with others, responsive with all communications/deliverables, collaborates with the team to resolve open issues, and anticipates the needs of colleagues in a consistent manner.
  • LEADERSHIP - Actively monitors assigned issues in the appropriate call tracking system, documents activities thoroughly, and resolves issues within the established service levels in a consistent manner
  • LEADERSHIP - Develops and maintains current documentation for system design, decisions, and changes. Delegates the production of documentation and approves as necessary.
  • ANALYTICS - Acts as an expert resource for the validation of analytic measures as they relate to employee's area of expertise.
  • TECHNICAL ABILITY - Demonstrates expertise within application area of focus.
  • TECHNICAL ABILITY - Provides maintenance and upgrade support and responsibility for assigned systems. This includes coordinating all system maintenance activities (fixes, updates, and new releases) and insures appropriate testing and implementation coordination.
  • TECHNICAL ABILITY - Performs problem isolation, is actively responsible for resolution and escalation both within the supported areas and Information Systems.
  • TECHICAL ABILITY - Ensures that the pharmacy application is both medically and fiscally accurate.
  • BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS - Assists the Manager/Director to discuss and develop potential technology solutions to stated operational issues.
  • BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS - Communicates effectively and follows through on assigned tasks until resolved or completed.
  • BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS - Collaborates successfully with other IT teams and team members. Works closely with Network and Operations teams to maintain essential network, servers, and storage components.
  • BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS - Work with the pharmacists, physicians, nursing, and other clinical areas to create and implement accurate order sets which calibrate the dosage amount based on relevant data such as age and weight. These order sets should consider evidence based information when available.
  • WORKFLOW ANALYSIS - Identifies potential workflow efficiencies utlizing existing technology solutions, guiding the team effort in approved projects.
  • WORKFLOW ANALYSIS - Adheres to all regulations and ensures that the pharmacy application and related billing meets all regulatory requirements.
  • INDUSTRY TRENDS - Collaborates with the Manager/Director to educate the team on emerging trends and technologies.
