Job SummaryThis position serves as a senior systems integrator and infrastructure strategist. This position leads high-level design, administration, and security engineering across enterprise systems, providing oversight of architecture implementations and ensuring compliance with DoD Cybersecurity requirements. The Systems Administrator 4 is responsible for mentoring junior administrators, managing classified environments, and interfacing with project stakeholders to drive mission success.

Responsibilities- Design and implement complex IT infrastructures including classified enclaves
- Lead security remediation efforts and interface with Cybersecurity teams during audits
- Serve as escalation point for advanced system issues and network performance gaps
- Manage technical documentation and system architecture diagrams
- Supervise patching, update schedules, and technical change controls
- Act as SME for virtualization, storage, and advanced configuration management
- Collaborate with program leadership on system readiness and risk mitigation
Basic Qualifications- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 8+ years of systems administration experience in secure environments
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Expert-level experience with system hardening and vulnerability management
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered
Preferred Qualifications- CISSP or CASP+ Certification
- Experience managing TS/SCI systems or SAP/SAR environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams in DoD acquisition lifecycle
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and endpoint detection tools
