As the System Administrator & Quality Assurance Analyst you will LEAD by........

The System Administrator & Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and continuous improvement of a customer-facing digital portal. This role serves as a key point of contact between internal business users, customers, technical teams, and the system provider to ensure the portal is secure, reliable, user-friendly, and operating as intended.

In addition to system administration responsibilities, this position will support Quality Assurance (QA) activities, including testing new functionality, system enhancements, integrations, bug fixes, and releases. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective test scenarios and system configurations.

In this role you will

System Administration & Support
  • Administer and maintain customer-facing applications, including user accounts, roles, permissions, configurations, and other system settings.
  • Manage user access, including account creation, modifications, deactivation, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system functionality and identify potential issues before they impact customers or business operations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for system-related questions and issues from internal users and customers.
  • Investigate reported issues, determine root causes when possible, and coordinate resolution with the appropriate technical or vendor support teams.
  • Support system integrations and data flows by identifying and escalating data or processing issues.
  • Coordinate with IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and development teams on system enhancements and issue resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, usability, and business processes.
  • Create and maintain user guides, procedures, FAQs, and other support documentation as needed.


Quality Assurance & Testing
  • Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios for new system functionality, enhancements, integrations, and defect fixes.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing as appropriate.
  • Document test results, defects, expected behavior, and actual results in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Reproduce reported defects and provide detailed information to technical teams or vendors to support resolution.
  • Support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help coordinate testing activities and timelines.
  • Maintain test scripts and testing documentation as system functionality evolves.
  • Identify potential risks or downstream impacts associated with system changes.


Your elements for success.......
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of work experience preferably experience administering, supporting, or maintaining a business application, web portal, SaaS platform, or similar system.
  • Experience with software testing, QA, UAT, or application support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or unexpected system behavior.
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into system requirements and test scenarios.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with customer-facing portals or web-based applications.
  • Experience with user and role administration or access management.
  • Experience creating and maintaining test cases and QA documentation.
  • Experience with defect tracking or ticket management systems.
