Position Description:deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a System Administrator in Huntsville, AL.
The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.
Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline
Experience Requirements:- A final secret clearance is required
- Must have a DOD 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (ex: Security + CE)
- Experience with Systems Administration for Windows or Linux Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Special Skills Desired:- Experience with various windows and Red Hat scripting using tools such as Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
- Experience with DevOps architecture such as Kubernetes, Nexus, Docker, GitLab, etc.
- Experience with security compliance and related security scanning products (ACAS)
- Experience in enterprise backup and restore solutions, storage area network (SAN), and network attached storage (NAS)
- Experience with hardware installation and maintenance to include firmware upgrades
