Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience (5+ years) as a System Administrator.
• Must comply with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management Level I or higher.
• Experience with modern operating systems and network architectures (1+ year).
• Experience in certification and accreditation, architecture development, risk assessments, and gathering IA metrics (1+ year).
• Ability to optimize system operations and perform capacity analysis and planning.
• Experience configuring and managing Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting and enhancements.
• Experience managing virtual servers using VMWare or other hypervisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration solutions for required capabilities.
• Create bills of materials, network designs, and documentation for installations.
• Collaborate with networking, storage, and server teams on complex problem solutions.
• Respond to requests for new systems based on capacity and user needs.
• Determine required power, space, cooling, and funding for systems.
