Job Description:
This veterinarian will be part of a progressive team of health professionals, producers, nutritionists, geneticists, technical advisors, researchers, and support team members.
Provides veterinary support and technical services to nucleus, multiplication, sow production, and nursery finish systems, with a primary focus on nursery/finish health and production.
Conducts diagnostic investigations and prescribes timely, progressive, and effective interventions.
Ensures exceptional biosecurity processes at all levels of production.
Additional opportunities include but are not limited to:
Assists with protocol development and process improvements.
Oversees animal welfare and Pork Quality Assurance programs.
