Qualifications/Requirements:

Position supports the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Global Sustainment Directorate. The incumbent will serve as the F-35 JPO Sustainment Security Division Chief and principal security advisor, responsible for the establishment and oversight of protection countermeasures for F-35 information and weapon systems throughout their lifecycle, including development, production, testing, modification, and fielding across all national security domains. Incumbent will direct and supervise personnel performing security management and administration functions.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervisory Leadership: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities, including planning work, setting priorities, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and managing hiring, training, and employee relations.

Security Program Management: Plans, organizes, and directs all collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) security activities for the division. Develops and integrates organizational and acquisition security objectives, ensuring compliance with DoD, USAF, and MAJCOM policies.

Program Protection and Cybersecurity: Administers the Program Protection Plan (PPP), identifying and protecting Critical Program Information (CPI). Oversees cybersecurity initiatives to protect classified and sensitive information, evaluates system security risks, and develops mitigation strategies.

Strategic Planning & Policy: Develops and prioritizes security performance goals, mission objectives, and operating procedures. Provides senior leadership with security management solutions for business, financial, and operational planning.

Stakeholder Engagement: Represents the organization with DoD, USAF, HQ AFMC, and other partner organizations. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships, meets with key customers to assess satisfaction, and resolves complex security issues.

Expertise in planning and directing collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) security activities.

Demonstrated experience in supervisory and personnel management responsibilities.

In-depth knowledge of Program Protection Planning (PPP), cybersecurity principles, and risk management for complex weapons systems.

Ability to develop, interpret, and apply security policies and procedures from DoD, Air Force, and other major commands.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with senior leadership, stakeholders, and partner organizations.

Proven ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance of multifaceted security activities and advise on resource planning.

Administers through subordinates, the Sustainment Director's security programs. Identifies and validates mission security needs through evaluation or development of security elements of applicable program.

Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with various government and industry partners.

Required to work across multiple units around the world (CONUS and OCONUS), with leadership at levels of SES/O-7 and higher. Demonstrating ability to skillfully interact and communicate with senior level leadership is essential.

Position is indexed for Security Professional Education and Development (SPeD) certifications.

This is a supervisory position. The incumbent also led multiple security contractors in executing mission requirements.
