Full Job Description
The Sustaining Engineer supports and improves the Litecontrol architectural linear lighting portfolio. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, Technical Support, Supply Chain, suppliers, and other engineering teams to resolve product and process issues, maintain product documentation and configuration systems, and support customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site engineering support for existing products, including troubleshooting fabrication, assembly, testing, and quality issues with manufacturing personnel.
  • Investigate product failures, warranty claims, and customer returns; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage engineering changes, BOMs, drawings, specifications, and related product documentation.
  • Serve as the product engineering liaison for SAP VC (variant configurator), providing requirements, validating configuration behavior, and ensuring configuration logic accurately reflects product design and manufacturing requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement, value engineering, cost reduction, product reliability, and manufacturability initiatives while maintaining performance and compliance requirements.
  • Build and evaluate prototypes, samples, and product modifications to support manufacturing, project, and customer needs.

Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $77,500-96,800
