We are seeking to hire a Sustaining Engineer who will specialize in product design and development, prototyping, packaging, documentation and sustaining engineering that support both the most cost-effective production and the highest quality delivery of products to customers.
What you will be doing:- Willingness to work all projects to closure and make the team successful no matter what it takes
- Aptitude for creative approaches to efficiency gains in engineering support
- Develop design improvements that reduce cost and or improve performance
- Populate and release Engineering Change Notices
- Prepare and populate product BOM in ERP system
- Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs
- Ad hoc projects and assignments as needed
- Travel up to 15%
What we are looking for:- Experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in Solidworks, MS Office, PDM and ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve engineering challenges
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
- Excellent teamwork skills
