Job Details

ChristianaCare is currently hiring for a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the surgical services team at our main campus in Newark, DE. The position involves four 10 hour day shifts. Night and weekend coverage is required a few shifts per year.

The PA or NP will work closely with surgical residents and attending physicians. Care includes performing consultations in the Emergency Department as well as on the floors, hospital admissions and discharges, pre- and post-operative care, obtaining pre-operative consents, and bedside surgical procedures.

Requirements:
• Licensed or eligible for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Delaware
• Acute Care NP license required
• ACLS certification required, DEA/CSR required
• ATLS within one year of hire required
• Surgical management experience, OR experience, thoracic surgery, vascular experience preferred

Annual Compensation Range $119,583.00 - $153,472.00

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
