Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification/eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Fellowship training in Surgical Pathology strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years attending level experience in surgical pathology encouraged.
• Board Certification in a relevant subspecialty in Anatomic Pathology is acceptable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for essential tasks.
• Active unrestricted Medical License to practice in California required.
• Additional state licensure in FL, NY, and TX is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient pathology services focused on clinical trial case sign out and validations.
• Collaborate with multiple Project Managers to address project requirements swiftly.
• Perform diagnostic interpretation of biopsy, resection, and cytology materials; includes gross and microscopic evaluations.
• Read and interpret complex laboratory data for accurate diagnoses.
• Conduct quality control and assurance to uphold departmental standards.
• Maintain high standards of turnaround time, quality, and customer service alongside clinical and administrative teams.
• Build and nurture relationships with referring physicians for excellent follow-up and case resolution.
