We are currently seeking a hard-working and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in Bridgewater, MA.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily packaging and labeling operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of production plans.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of associates while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure products are packaged and labeled accurately in accordance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and approved procedures.
- Monitor staffing, workflow, and operational performance to meet safety, quality, service, and productivity objectives.
- Partner with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support business priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce waste, improve quality, and optimize operational performance.
- Support audits, investigations, CAPAs, training compliance, and inspection readiness activities.
- Promote a safe working environment by ensuring EHSS requirements are understood, followed, and integrated into daily operations.
- Track and communicate key performance metrics while identifying and implementing actions to improve results.
- Support employee hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning activities.
Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent University Degree preferred; in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field strongly preferred
Required:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, logistics, distribution, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related operational environment.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience with responsibility for leading and developing teams.
- Proven ability to manage daily operations in a fast-paced environment while balancing safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and engage employees while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Experience leading packaging, labeling, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment operations.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO, or other regulated quality systems.
- Experience supporting audits, investigations, CAPAs, and compliance-related activities.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Johnson & Johnson Production System (JJPS), or other continuous improvement experience.
- Experience using ERP, inventory management, warehouse management, or production planning systems.
- Demonstrated success leading operational improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, service, or productivity.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$79,000.00 - $127,650.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
