Description

This position is designated as work-from-home.

Description:

  • The candidate will work with our government client to support the project management, testing, and evaluation of highly advanced and complex computer software systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to facilitate work efforts that involve various team members, customers, and stakeholders locally and remotely
  • The ideal candidate would be a detail oriented, high-energy individual with a strong sense of responsibility for getting tasks completed on time and with little supervision
  • Some experience with a programming language and virtualization
  • Performs software and hardware installation, testing, and deploying
  • Performs visual checks of all system components, wiring, and status lights
  • Escalates unusual or unexpected findings as appropriate
  • Provides periodic reports to users and managers of systems status
  • Provides weekly status reports
  • Uses change and test management procedures as required
  • Develops and provides action plan for resolution of any/all faults detected
  • Performs isolation testing of problem equipment and or software
  • Provides documentation of all solutions to problems
  • Provides reports with intent to share solutions found
  • Provides and implements escalation process and or procedures
  • Develops, implements and follows the appropriate quality assurance program
  • Develops recommendations and procedures for implementation of new hardware/software products and applications


Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of network and application experience, including federal government environments.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Cisco), a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle, Java, and SharePoint preferred.

Citizenship or Work Authorization Required: US Citizen

Preferred Education & Experience: 6 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree.

Target Salary Range

Compensation for roles at Synergy is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the requirements of the role; level of experience; education and certifications; the individual's combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities; as well as alignment with market data, federal and state laws, and other business and contract considerations. The estimated pay range for this position is: $100,000 - $120,000. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and represent just one component of Synergy's total compensation package for employees.
