Full Job Description
Pacific Legacy Group is an independent financial services practice of Thrivent Financial located in Salt Lake City, UT. We take a broad-based approach to helping our clients achieve multiple financial goals. Pacific Legacy Group helps our clients analyze their current situation, develop in-depth financial programs, and help them implement an integrated financial strategy.

Support Advisor

This position is a fully remote position, preferred location of Salt Lake City to provide support to the existing client base of Pacific Legacy Group. This role provides technical support for the Lead Advisor and/or Service Advisor. Responsibilities include data gathering, modeling, case design, scenario building, plan development, and presentation development. May participate in client meetings, but not in an advice capacity. Has no decision-making authority on client matters. The Support Advisor reports to and is employed/contracted by the Financial Advisor. Thrivent Investment Management Inc. is the sponsor for FINRA registration and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is the sponsor for insurance licensure.

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Enter client information into various systems
  • Prepare and update financial plans and presentation material for client meetings
  • Enter information into financial planning software and prepare draft financial plans
  • Deepen and maintain existing client relationships through processing of client requests, resolving client questions, and making sure client information and documentation are up to date
  • Research and respond to client inquiries
  • Finalize, submit, and track all client account and application paperwork
  • Gather and maintain customer suitability information
  • Assists Financial Advisors in the preparation and follow up for client meetings
  • Updates and maintains client information in several planning tools, including Salesforce, MoneyGuide Pro, Morningstar, and others
  • Completes electronic and paper service forms and new business applications
  • May fill out and sign Variable Life/Variable Annuity/Mutual Fund/Brokerage applications
  • May accept and/or enter trade orders from clients, including unsolicited trade orders
  • May sit second chair in meetings to take notes
  • May handle all post meeting tasks
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Advisor


Position Qualifications
  • Previous financial services experience desired
  • Securities (7/66, or 7/63 & 65) and Life, Health, and Annuities registration required
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 3+ years preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information.
  • Basic understanding of our products and services, and Thrivent Financial.

Compensation
  • Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 | 40 hours per week(based on experience and performance)

As part of Pacific Legacy Group recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process. In addition, fingerprints will be taken for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.

All persons with access to Wealthscape are deemed Access Persons and are subject to Compliance with the firm's Code of Ethics which requires all outside brokerage accounts to be maintained at one of the firms designated by TIMI.
