**This position can be based in either our Blaine or Anoka sites supporting our data center solutions products. Relocation support provided."

In this high-impact role, you won't just be checking boxes; you will be the primary bridge between our customers, engineering teams, and global supply base, ensuring we maintain a "zero-defect" mindset.

What You Will Experience in This Position:

  • Be the Strategic Liaison: Act as the critical link between production, program teams, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure seamless delivery.

  • Build Powerful Partnerships: Establish deep, collaborative relationships with internal engineering and sourcing teams to identify and mitigate production risks before they happen.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities and Kaizen events, fostering an environment where quality is the top priority.

  • Influence the Supply Chain: Evaluate supplier robustness, validate the effectiveness of their actions, and lead supplier engagement and cadences.

  • Support Global Standards: Participate in audits and lead the Supplier PPAP process to maintain the highest manufacturing excellence.

  • Global Exposure: This role includes the opportunity to travel (up to 30%) to visit supplier locations and work hands-on with our partners.

YOU HAVE:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in an engineering discipline.

  • Experience: 3+ years in Supplier Quality-related functions.

  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in root cause analysis (RCCA, 8D, 3L5Y, ISHIKAWA) as well in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and its elements including PFMEA, Process Control Plan, Capability Studies, MSA.

Preferred:

  • Certifications: CQE, CMQ, CQA, or APQP.

  • Auditing: ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training.

  • Methodologies: Training in Six Sigma, Lean, and Process Improvement.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
 
Compensation Range:

$76,000.00 - $141,100.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
