Supply Chain Strategy Specialist

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Supply Chain Strategy Specialist (level 3 or 4) to join our Global Supply Chain Strategy team in Everett, Washington.

Supply Chain Strategy plays a key role working across the BCA Supply Chain organization and other internal stakeholders to develop strategies that impact the near, medium, and long-term performance of the commercial supply chain. This team analyzes geopolitical risk, country strategies, competitive intelligence, and other strategic drivers to offer balanced decision making to the broader organization.

Strategic Analysis:

Conduct in-depth research and analysis on supply chain trends, geopolitical risks, country strategies, competitive intelligence, and other strategic drivers.
Develop long-term strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Operational Implementation:

Collaborate with business divisions to implement strategic recommendations, ensuring alignment with operational capabilities and resources.
Address questions and concerns from various teams during the implementation process, providing data-driven insights and support.

Research and Data Analysis:

Analyze data from various sources to build convincing arguments and support strategic recommendations.
Oversee the integration and synthesis of research and benchmarking to develop an integrated view of the future business environment and opportunities in supply chain management.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Present findings and recommendations to senior executives and other stakeholders, addressing their questions and concerns.
Foster collaboration across departments to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Leadership and Collaboration:

Demonstrate ability and experience in building teams and leading from an indirect position.
Collaborate across functions and business units to develop and deploy strategies to achieve business objectives.
Oversee high-level meetings regarding complex strategy subjects, building alignment and driving decision-making

Position Responsibilities:
  • Leads integration & synthesis of research, benchmarking & forecasting.
  • Develops integrated view of the future business environment and opportunities.
  • Oversees enterprise, functional and business unit integration of strategic decision analysis.
  • Leads business case development through partnering with other functions.
  • Ensures strategies and investments are reflected in Long Range Business Plan.
  • Oversees integration of market development for industry collaboration, acquisitions or partnerships.
  • Collaborates across functions and business units to develop and deploy strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversees high-level meetings regarding complex strategy subjects, building alignment and driving decision-making.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, strategy consulting, or a related field.
  • 3 + years experience conducting research and strategic analysis on industry trends, geopolitical risks, supplier and industry influences, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and business units.
  • 3 years + Experience in leading high-level meetings and driving decision-making processes.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, or supply chain strategy; aerospace or manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • 5+ years experience using analysis tools and methodologies to support strategic recommendations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading teams in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Level 4 - $140,000 - $174,000
