Key Responsibilities

Strategic Supply Chain Design

  • Define and optimize the NAFTA warehousing and distribution footprint, ensuring alignment with customer demand, cost targets, and service expectations.
  • Evaluate supply alternatives, including dual sourcing, regional sourcing, and supply diversification strategies.
  • Lead network modeling and scenario analysis to support long-term supply chain strategy.


Logistics Improvement & Optimization

  • Identify inefficiencies across transportation, warehousing, and distribution flows; develop improvement plans with clear ROI.
  • Partner with Logistics teams to enhance trucking performance, reduce freight costs, and improve cross-border flow efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the NAFTA supply chain, focusing on speed, cost, and reliability.


Supply & Distribution Planning

  • Oversee regional supply distribution strategies to ensure optimal inventory positioning and flow.
  • Support replenishment strategies that balance service levels with working capital targets.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning and Demand Planning teams to ensure strategic alignment across the planning horizon.


Advanced Analytics & Insight Generation

  • Conduct deep analytical assessments to identify bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities across the supply chain.
  • Build models, dashboards, and decision-support tools to guide strategic choices.
  • Present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.


Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Support S&OP and IBP processes with strategic insights and long-range planning scenarios.
  • Influence decision-making across commercial and operational teams through strong analytical storytelling.


Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report strategic KPIs related to cost, service, resilience, and network efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives that improve OTIF, reduce Total Working Capital (TWC), and minimize expedite costs.
  • Benchmark NAFTA supply chain performance against industry standards and best practices.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Data Management or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain strategy, network design, logistics optimization, or advanced analytics.
  • Strong analytical capability with expertise in modeling, scenario planning, and data visualization tools (Power BI, or similar). SAP experience is an asset.
