Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Manager to join our Procurement department based in the United States.

You will be part of a team developing Cabin equipment work packages (including Monuments, Floor to Floor, IFE, and seats). As part of the Airbus Americas Procurement team, you will be involved in daily supplier quality management and supply chain surveillance aiming at securing aircraft deliveries on time and on quality.

Meet the Team

You will be part of a highly autonomous team within the Airbus Americas Procurement organization. Our primary mission is to interface directly with the Procurement Operations Cabin organization in Europe and all Airbus Final Assembly Lines (FALs). We manage complex, high-profile suppliers, drawing on deep quality management expertise and strong relationship-building skills to problem-solve, mitigate risks, and safeguard Airbus's global industrial objectives.

Your Challenges
  • Ensure Supplier Robustness: Drive the maturity and capability of Cabin Suppliers' manufacturing and supply chain processes to proactively avoid supply failures and secure industrial ramp-up phases.
  • Performance Monitoring & Surveillance: Analyze supplier performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage supplier surveillance via regular audits, assessments, and industrial risk management.
  • Recovery & Corrective Actions: Initiate and champion robust recovery plans and preventive/corrective action plans (CID) with suppliers to restore performance back to strict Airbus standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage daily relationships, communications, and alignment with internal stakeholders, including Multi-Functional Team (MFT) leaders, Programs, and global Final Assembly Lines (FALs).
  • Strategic Reviews: Prepare, support, and lead regular industrial senior management and quality supply chain reviews (PRMs) with key suppliers to continuously improve delivery outcomes.


Your Boarding Pass
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a similar field (Master's Degree preferred). Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a procurement operations environment focusing on monitoring, auditing, and developing suppliers (10+ years within aerospace or manufacturing is highly preferred).
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Quality Processes. Familiarity with Quality Core Tools, QMS, international management standards, Auditing/Assessing, IPCA+, and CCP tools is a significant plus.
  • Certifications: Green Belt/Black Belt or CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management) certifications are preferred.
  • Soft Skills & Communication: Fluent/negotiation-level English with an exceptional ability to summarize complex industrial situations clearly and influence decision-making at all levels of both supplier and Airbus organizations.
  • Citizenship: Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.


Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (Domestic and International).
  • Ability to work on-site at allocated supplier sites or Airbus offices a minimum of 4 days per week.
