Supply Chain Procurement Specialist - Level 3, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
This position can be located in Magna, Promontory or Clearfield, UT. FT remote work is not available.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:- Sourcing and procuring various commodities throughout multiple programs - Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiations
- Ensures compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
- Work independently
- Problem solve and find creative solutions
- Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices.
- Interfacing and collaborating with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
- Plan Schedule and arrange execute activities to accomplish objectives
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/ Procurement, Operations - OR - Master's degree with 3+ years of professional experience; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
- Experience in MS Office suite.
- Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and V-look ups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extremely organized
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with SAP/CostPoint ERP System
- Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry is preferred
- Experience with FAR/DFAR
- Experience buying tooling or mechanical commodity
Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
