About the role:

Komline-Barnes is seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Supply Chain Manager to lead our end-to-end materials management function, including production planning, purchasing, warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. This leader will play a key role in improving operational performance, ensuring material availability, optimizing inventory levels, improving supply chain performance, and supporting manufacturing operations to meet customer delivery commitments. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with a hands-on leadership style, strong analytical capability, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end supply chain function, including production planning, purchasing, warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that ensure material availability, optimize inventory levels and working capital, and support on-time customer delivery.
  • Manage supplier relationships and procurement activities to ensure the timely, cost-effective acquisition of materials while driving improvements in supplier quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Oversee inventory management, warehouse operations, and ERP/MRP system integrity to ensure accurate inventory transactions, planning data, and efficient material flow.
  • Establish, monitor, and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) including inventory accuracy, inventory turns, supplier performance, schedule attainment, and on-time delivery.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to align demand forecasts, production priorities, and business objectives.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, materials management, purchasing, production planning, inventory control, warehouse operations, or related manufacturing functions.
  • 3-5 years of experience successfully leading and developing teams within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, inventory management, production planning, and procurement processes. Experience with Microsoft D365 is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence cross-functional teams, solve complex operational problems, and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, execution, and results.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including computers, phones, and printers.
  • Ability to occasionally climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, and kneel.
  • Ability to visually inspect materials, inventory, reports, and production activities.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures while following all required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to supplier locations, customer sites, or other company facilities as needed.
