Job Description SummaryDauch is searching for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This position will be based out of our Ridgway, PA location.
The Supply Chain Manager develops, implements, and manages supply chain processes and solutions. Establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting; monitors planned vs. actual performance and presents results to senior management. Maintains communications with operations, procurement, logistics, and distribution. Creates integrated processes to streamline supply chains.Demonstrate, lead, and mentor a continuous improvement mindset within Plant, Regional and Corporate Materials/SCM teams.
Job Description:- Achieve Supply Chain Management operational objectives by contributing materials management information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining materials management system improvements; implementing change.
- Support the standardization and continuous improvement of business processes for the implementation of global supply chain systems.
- Develop and maintains effective SMEs/Key Users (including back-ups and polyvalence to develop full deck of capable key users) with forum for regular interaction in key user groups.
- Support the development of new process technology for continuous improvement of AAM materials management / SCM systems
- Key support contact for manufacturing plants to drive problem resolution: Assist plants in root cause assessment for all audit non compliances, development of corrective action plans and monitor action registers/PDCAS to drive closure.
- Maintain 'current state' and 'future state' process flows for all core and sub-core SCM processes including the material and information flow.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years Supply Chain/Materials/Logistics experience.
- 3+ years progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
