Supply Chain Manager - Aerospace Transparencies

Grand Prairie, TX

As the Supply Chain Manager - Aerospace Transparencies you will develop strategies for efficient manufacturing and on-time delivery of products that consistently meet customer requirements. This will include ensuring timely and accurate response to customer orders by providing the required information, schedules, materials and accurate systems to the manufacturing teams. In this role you will also be responsible for the planning and scheduling of raw materials, work orders, and finished goods inventory to align with customer demand. This is a leadership position that will drive improvement initiatives and requires a thorough knowledge of company operations, sales environment and cost structures.

This is an On-Site role reporting to the Grand Prairie, TX facility. In this role you will report to the Plant Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of materials management, supply chain, and inventory strategies to achieve plant objectives, improve customer service, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team responsible for logistics, inventory control, material planning, production scheduling, master scheduling, and supply chain analytics.
  • Oversee forecasting, capacity planning, and the SIOP process to align demand, supply, resources, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Optimize MRP, planning parameters, lead times, safety stock levels, and lean pull systems to ensure material availability and operational efficiency.
  • Drive inventory optimization, purchase order management, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics, including on-time delivery, inventory levels, manufacturing performance, and shortage recovery plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Partner with production leadership, executives, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to execute global material strategies, remove bottlenecks, and achieve operational excellence.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering or Operations required.
  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Six (6) years of experience in diverse manufacturing environments required.
  • Five (5) or more years as a Supply Chain Manager or related role required.
  • Experience with Supply, Inventory, and Operations Planning to balance supply and demand requirements preferred.
  • Solid Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and hand-on experience with Lean Tools required.
