Full Job Description
Supply Chain & Logistics Manager

Bruce Aerospace | Full-Time | 10-20% Travel (Domestic & International)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a forward-thinking Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to own and lead our end-to-end supply chain function. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll drive real business outcomes - from strategic sourcing and supplier development to inventory optimization and ERP excellence - in a dynamic custom manufacturing environment.

You'll move fluidly between hands-on execution and long-range planning, leading a cross-functional team while owning key metrics that directly shape our profitability and customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Supply Chain & Sourcing
  • Develop and manage domestic and international supplier relationships focused on quality, delivery, cost, and partnership
  • Source, qualify, and onboard suppliers; negotiate and execute supply and service agreements
  • Mitigate risk by reducing single-source dependencies, evaluating supplier health, and monitoring market conditions
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure material and product specifications are consistently met

Inventory, Warehousing & Planning
  • Own annual inventory and material savings plans; drive accuracy, accessibility, and transparency across sites
  • Monitor supply and demand in the ERP system; identify gaps, trends, and irregularities and act proactively
  • Place timely purchase orders to meet production, stocking, and new product development requirements
  • Provide demand forecasts to key suppliers through reports or long-range purchase orders

ERP & Systems
  • Serve as process owner for ERP and MES systems - drive data integrity, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain Item Master data integrity; partner with IT and stakeholders to resolve variances and exceptions
  • Manage product lifecycle data and communicate disposition of orders and associated inventory

Leadership & Performance
  • Lead and develop a high-performance supply chain team across multiple sites
  • Define, track, and report KPIs: on-time delivery, inventory turnover, order accuracy, and cost savings
  • Develop and execute annual plans for productivity, inflation, payment terms, and operational metrics
  • Manage budgets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ISO certifications
  • Partner with Business Unit leadership in new product development from early stages

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience
  • 5+ years leading a supply chain function (procurement, inventory management, warehousing)
  • 10 years in a complex process manufacturing environment - high-mix, low-volume, custom order preferred
  • 5+ years managing or implementing ERP systems
  • 5+ years leading and developing high-performance teams in a multi-site environment
  • 3-5 years initiating and driving change management initiatives
  • Knowledge of trade compliance: customs regulations, export controls, and trade restrictions

Education & Credentials
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
  • APICS CSCP, CPIM, CFPIM, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
  • Must be eligible for any required US government authorizations (ITAR 120.15 / EAR Part 772)

Skills & Attributes
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience executing supplier contracts and supply agreements
  • Proven domestic and international supplier development capabilities, including multi-tier management
  • Comfortable moving between strategic and tactical modes - with a clear bias for action
  • Process and continuous improvement mindset; skilled in lean principles
  • Strong project management, change management, and cross-functional influencing skills

YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF...

You take ownership seriously, bring urgency and clarity to complex problems, and get energized by driving measurable improvement. You're a forward-thinking leader who knows how to build relationships - with suppliers, teams, and internal stakeholders - and you hold yourself accountable to results.
