Team: Supply Planning

Overview

The Supply Chain Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting global supply planning decision-making through data, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role partners with the supply planning team to develop scalable reporting solutions, deliver actionable analysis, and improve the quality and accessibility of supply chain data.

This position is highly project-based and will contribute to initiatives that span inventory health, supply planning, ERP processes, reporting automation, KPI development, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate is technically curious, analytically rigorous, and capable of independently solving ambiguous business problems.

What You'll Do

Analytic and Reporting Duties

  • Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions for Supply Planning and other Supply Chain teams.


  • Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting layers to support operational and strategic decision-making.


  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable data solutions.


  • Conduct ad hoc analysis related to inventory, supply planning, fulfillment, and product availability.


  • Validate data quality and investigate discrepancies across reporting systems.


Data & Process Improvement

  • Assist in developing and maintaining data models and reporting assets using Snowflake.


  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve business processes through analytics.


  • Document business logic, KPI definitions, and data lineage to improve reporting transparency and consistency.


  • Support testing and validation of new reporting enhancements and data products.


  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives involving ERP processes, planning systems, and analytics tools.


Business Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Supply Planning team to understand business challenges and provide data-driven recommendations.


  • Communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.


  • Support prioritization and execution of analytics projects aligned to supply chain objectives.

Experience You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Operations, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.


  • 2-5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, supply chain analytics, or a related role.


  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.


  • Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.


  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


  • Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into business recommendations.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred:

  • Experience using Snowflake.


  • Experience with dbt or modern data transformation tools.


  • Experience supporting supply chain, inventory, planning, operations, or ERP processes.


  • Familiarity with Python, Power Query, or additional analytics tools.


  • Experience gathering business requirements and supporting cross-functional projects.


Hiring range: $91,600 - $103,050 USD Annual

At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs, according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget.
