Full Job Description
Analyze business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements. Configure system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and create specifications for systems to meet our requirements. Design details of automated systems. Provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. You will report to the Manager, Americas Digital Manufacturing & IE Adoption and have a hybrid schedule working in Milwaukee, WI.
Your Responsibilities:
• Approach challenges with a business-first mindset, focusing on operational outcomes before evaluating technical solutions.
• Have an understanding of Lean principles and manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experienced in using digital manufacturing solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance.
• Passionate about automation, with testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation MES and IoT platforms is a plus.
• Communicate effectively across teams and organizational levels, building alignment and driving results.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• The ability to travel 10% of the time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
• Experience with Rockwell Automation and PTC MES/IoT software, including FactoryTalk Production Centre (FTPC), Fiix, SAP, and related manufacturing systems.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience supporting and deploying MES, IoT, and Connected Enterprise technologies in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, or Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Experience with change management, system implementation, testing, and end-user training.
• Experience working in a manufacturing operations environment with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple manufacturing locations.
