Full Job Description
Agri-Mark/McCadam/Cabot Creamery has an immediate opening for a Supplier Quality Manager. The Supplier Quality Manager will manage food safety and quality supplier approval and continued compliance of ingredient, packaging, chemical, copacker, licensed and other suppliers for all Agri-Mark locations. Support all Agri-Mark warehouses as resident SQF Practitioner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, model, promote and help oversee the food safety culture in the facilities.
  • Display strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect, while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.
  • Manage the SQF program at all warehouses, including all verification, validation, and training activities. Oversees inspections of Agri-Mark stand-alone warehousing and audits of contract warehousing in cooperation with the plant QA managers.
  • Manage co-packer, supplier (ingredients, packaging materials), licensing and warehouse approval program process.
  • Provide metrics to manage co-packer, supplier, warehouse and licensing performance through scorecards.
  • Manage documentation of co-packer, supplier, warehouse and licensing food safety, quality, and regulatory documents through the TraceGains platform.
  • Perform audits of new and existing co-packers, suppliers, and licensing as needed as business needs change, processes changes, or improvement are sought.
  • Work with QA staff to fulfill audits and inspections of current and potential warehouses and manage resulting record keeping and ranking.
  • Support manufacturing plant QA during audits in areas of supplier quality, co-packers, and outside warehousing.
  • Maintain approved supplier and approved warehouse lists.
  • Responsible for supporting the manufacturing plants in the areas warehouse and supplier issues.
  • Support the entire supply chain as an expert in the areas of supplier quality and warehouse quality.
  • Supports all warehouses as resident SQF Practitioner, including program development, training, management, verification and validation.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in a scientific field with 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment with equivalent leadership experience. A combination of education and training will be accepted as an alternative to work experience.
  • SQF Practitioner experience, PCQI certification and HACCP certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of State Department of Agriculture, USPH, FDA, and USDA regulatory requirements is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems to include the SQF System, the Sanitary Transportation Rule, HACCP, environmental pathogen monitoring, pest control, auditing, and sanitation if preferred.

Position will be based out of one of our Vermont locations which include Waitsfield, Cabot or Middlebury.

Average Compensation: $96,000-$106,000. This position will not start until November 2, 2026.
