Summary

This position is with the U. S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), within the Directorate of Administrative Programs (DAP), in the Office of Training and Education (OTE), located in Arlington Heights, IL.

  • This position is at the full performance level.
  • This position is outside the bargaining unit.
  • This position is NOT remote. Selectee will be expected to report to the office listed above.


Duties

Help

Duties for the Supervisory Program Analyst include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Participating in a wide range of internal and external work groups, teams, and committees regarding training program administration, including curricula development.
  • Coordinating program oversight activities to ensure compliance with program requirements and expectations.
  • Briefing senior leadership through written and oral communication regarding training program administration and improvements.
  • Advising senior leadership on the alignment of program activities with agency priorities and initiatives.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-13, in the Federal Service.

Qualifying specialized experience for the GS-14 includes:

  • Developing and/or delivering adult learning training with emphasis on application strategies and feedback for traditional classroom and distance learning environments.
  • Managing adult training programs curricula development, delivery, and/or evaluation.
  • Conducting adult training program evaluation and oversight activities.
  • Developing and/or implementing strategic plans to advance and/or improve adult training programs.
