Summary

Judicial Security Division in Arlington, VA

The selectee of this position serves as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst. You will be responsible for Judicial Services budget resource program, property management program, strategic planning, records management program, procurement management, data analytics and milestone tracking, continuous improvement and administrative policies, rules and practices.

As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst at the GS-0343-14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:

  • Developing and maintaining a system to track Judicial Security Services programs and projects in order to provide senior management with reliable data, projections and information.
  • Overseeing the Judicial Services web management functions on the USMS intranet.
  • Reviewing pending or proposed regulations which may have an impact on Judicial Services, and advises management of the impact on Judicial Services programs.
  • Developing short and long range plans for the management of human, financial and material resources to achieve program objectives

Qualifications

GS-14 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).

You may qualify at the GS-0343-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:

I have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level of the Federal Service that include:1) Serving as a liaison with financial management staff; 2) Planning, organizing, and directing team work and negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations; 3) Formulating administrative policies, business rules and practices; 4) Managing programs and performing analyses and reports; 5) Directing and overseeing a variety of administrative activities and distributing workload among employees; and 6) Analyzing and evaluating (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.

Physical Demands

Work is typically sedentary in nature, requiring no specific physical qualifications. There may be some walking, standing, bending and carrying of light items, and occasional lifting of moderately heavy items (i.e., shifting office equipment, boxes, books, supplies).
