In this role, the incumbent directs daily work activities, provides continuous technical guidance, and maintains operational accountability. Additionally, the position oversees the entire depot program lifecycle-from initial input through pre-production, repair, Functional Check Flight (FCF), and final delivery. Knowledge of a variety of industrial engineering technician techniques and processes to include work measurement, methods improvement, engineered time standards development, Methods Time Measurement, Defense Work Methods and Standard (DWM&S), layout design and cost analysis. 2. Knowledge of safety, security, and environmental regulations, practices, and procedures. 3. Knowledge of EEO, labor management, personnel management policies, practices and procedures including the ability to adjust work operations to meet emergencies; the ability to analyze plans and adjusts program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice of quantity or quality. 4. Knowledge of experience with Aircraft Programs, depot maintenance operations including production planning, scheduling, and material storage/distribution. as well as, production materials and methods, concepts, practices, and techniques critical to repair, manufacturing, and modifications of major weapon systems and components, and the knowledge of mechanics and construction, maintenance and repair facility work processes and methods. 5. Ability to plan, organizes, and directs the functions and mentor, motivate, and apprise the staff of an organization. 6. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Additional Position Requirements: 1. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft. 2. Duty during weekends or irregular shifts may occasionally be required in support of surge workloads, exercises, contingencies, or emergencies. 3. The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license may be required for position. 4.
