The primary purpose of this position is to exercise first level supervisory and position management responsibilities over subordinate employees within OO-ALC. Directs work activities through subordinates with responsibility for maintaining a current knowledge and

guiding subordinate employees to provide advice, accountability, and expertise on a continuous basis. Exercises managerial authorities to protect the organization from espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information considered

vital to mission interests, national defense and national security by providing security program functions in support of the organization.

Qualifications:

- U.S. Citizenship

- Obtain & maintain Security clearance

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)

- The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts.

- The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations.

- The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial Locations for both training and mission accomplishment.

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of a variety of industrial engineering technician techniques and processes to include work measurement, methods improvement, engineered time standards development, Methods Time Measurement, Defense Work Methods and Standard (DWM&S), layout design and cost analysis.

2. Knowledge of safety, security, and environmental regulations, practices, and procedures.

3. Knowledge of EEO, labor management, personnel management policies, practices and procedures including the ability to adjust work operations to meet emergencies; the ability analyze plans and adjust program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice of quantity or quality; and the ability to establish objectives or performance goals and assess progress toward their achievement.

4. Knowledge and experience with Aircraft Programs, depot maintenance operations including production planning, scheduling, and material storage/distribution, as well as, production materials and methods, concepts, practices, and techniques critical to repair, manufacturing, and modifications of major weapons systems and components, and the knowledge of mechanics and construction, maintenance and repair facility work processes and methods.

5. Ability to plan, organizes, and directs the functions and mentor, motivate, and apprise the staff of an organization.
