Full Job Description
Position Summary:

This position is responsible for all daily operations and maintenance activities at the terminal which includes managing rail, pipeline, vessel and truck operations. Related activities include metering, quality control, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, inventory management, agency audits and inspections, and coordinating the movement schedule.

This role has a current pay range of $95,000 - $148,000. The listed pay range represents the company's good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base rate of pay for this position at the time of this posting. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on their work location, qualifications, relevant experience, operational needs, demonstrated performance over time, and internal pay alignment.

Major Accountabilities:
  • Assumes responsibility for the maintenance, safety, and environmental matters related to the receipt and storage of customer products through multiple transportation methods.
  • Supervises employees including fair and consistent assignment of tasks.
  • Assumes responsibility for the training and development of department employees.
  • Performs daily physical inspections and prepares status reports on equipment and operations.
  • Prepares daily and monthly reports, material, and service requisitions.
  • Evaluates subordinates' daily activities for performance evaluation.
  • Assures daily, weekly, and annual reports are delivered to management, interdepartmental groups, and customers according to regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Reduces potential risk to public safety and environment and minimizes company liability through efficient product movement.
  • Improves operations efficiency and financial profitability through well maintained processes.
  • After-Hours & Weekend Availability: This position requires flexibility to respond to operational needs outside of normal business hours. This may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as situations arise. The Supervisor is expected to be reachable and capable of providing guidance, decision-making, or on-site support when required to ensure continuity of operations, safety, and service standards.


Education Requirement:
  • High School Degree or equivalent required
  • Training of correct installations and repair of equipment required
  • HAZWOPER and valid driver's license required
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required
  • Certification or formal training in mechanics preferred

Experience Requirement:
  • 8 minimum years of pipeline and/or terminal experience required including: technical knowledge of equipment, mechanical knowledge, and field experience.
  • Knowledge of petroleum products and industry terminology required
  • Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products
  • Ability to manage time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines
  • Ability to work successfully in stressful situations, and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to independently conduct job accountabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently proof work for accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to independently proof work for accuracy
  • Ability to take directions from supervisors
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation requirements (PHMSA)
