Description

Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA) Inc. is seeking a candidate with in-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain process with exceptional analytical skills and a strong business acumen. They use interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different departments to recommend ways of improving the supply chain. Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for procurement of materials, consensus demand plan, inventory planning, and management of finished goods and logistics coordination along with understanding and responding to customer query as per DSCSA guidelines. The position will report directly to the Sr. Director Supply Chain & Logistics. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and maintain long-term demand forecasts for existing and new products across Zydus affiliates/CMO using the ERP system, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with all CMO partners for all current and upcoming new product launches.
• Prepare and provide data to support bid management by balancing inventory on hand, demand, and lead time to optimize inventory levels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Trade Operations to develop accurate demand forecasts, ensuring volume assumptions are aligned, clearly communicated, and agreed upon across all business units.
• Prepare inventory expiry reports, inventory-versus-demand reports, and RSP files to support supply planning and business decision-making.
• Provide data-driven insights and actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including supply review meetings.
• Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly forecast variance reports to monitor forecast accuracy and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create purchase orders for finished goods (FG), raw materials (RM), consumables, and departmental services, while addressing internal and external stakeholder queries during the approval process.
• Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and supplier invoices, and coordinate with the Finance team to ensure timely supplier payments.
• Prepare documentation required for new product launches, including HDA sheets, GTIN assignments, and product setup documentation.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply shortages through timely communication, inventory build coordination with the Supply Planning team, and appropriate escalation.
• Perform data analysis and prepare ad hoc reports, presenting insights in a clear and meaningful manner to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and maintain effective communication across departments to support business objectives.
• Ensure all responsibilities are performed in compliance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS - SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to utilize ERP information and analyze results.
  • Strong computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with short timelines.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Extremely strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in SAP tools will be added advantage.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related business major.
• Requires minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory management, procurement, or supply planning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience working in pharmaceutical, medical devices, or other regulated industries is preferred.
