We are looking for a motivated and results oriented leader who has proven success in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for daily operational oversight and directing teammates to ensure processes are being completed as expected, team is meeting critical KPI’s to ensure timely and accurate insurance verification and coverage setting to maximize payments for life-sustaining dialysis services. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this position will be responsible for intermittently leading and/or actively supporting the execution of strategic initiatives and special projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to prioritize and triage in a fast-paced environment
- Serve as escalation agent for team and partners to resolve questions or concerns with a high level of quality customer service
- Develop staffing plans that promote the most effective use of resources to ensure metrics and goals are achieved consistently with a high-level of accuracy
- Monitor team results to evaluate compliance, quality and effectiveness to identify opportunities for improving results
- Complete teammate employment activity such as hiring, promoting, job performance, evaluations including Performance Development Reviews (PDRs), PTO, and disciplinary action as required
- Address teammate relations issues appropriately and escalate to manager as necessary
- Maintain teammate records in compliance with DaVita policy's and any applicable laws
- Understand and communicate DaVita company policies and procedures
Special Projects
- Lead or actively participate in special projects
- Assist with CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) projects or other efforts designed to improve effectiveness/efficiency of the business
- Identify system and process improvements opportunities and make recommendations
Analytics/Reporting
- Perform root cause analysis and trending on large amounts of datasets and create detailed reports for strategic business issues and opportunities
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of performance metrics to the senior leadership team as required or scheduled
Other Duties
- Cross team collaboration throughout the revenue cycle
- Maintain teammate records in compliance with DaVita policy's and any applicable laws
- Understand and communicate DaVita company policies and procedures
- Champion the DaVita Mission and Values both internally and externally
- Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as scheduled or needed
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
- Travel required: up to 5%
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Revenue cycle experience preferred especially knowledge of various types of insurances along with coordination of benefits.
- Supervisory experience demonstrating willingness, desire, and ability to supervise with aptitude for coaching, mentoring, training, and developing teammate skills
- Willingness and desire to create a team learning environment and to foster a positive, fulfilling work environment
- Demonstrated strengths in teambuilding and leadership skills
- Critical thinker with demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis, draw conclusions, solve problems, prepare and implement action plans, and lead improvement initiatives
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.
The Salary Range for the role is $80,168.40 - $94,000.00 per year.
If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
