Full Job Description
The Supervisor, Practice Operations supports the daily operations of a multi-modality imaging center by supervising staff, coordinating patient flow, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and promoting an exceptional patient experience. The Practice Supervisor works closely with leadership to achieve operational, quality, and service goals while maintaining efficient workflows and supporting staff development.

Responsibilities

Operations Supervision
  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and workflow.
  • Assist with patient scheduling and ensure efficient patient throughput.
  • Monitor staffing coverage and coordinate daily assignments.
  • Identify and address operational issues to maintain productivity and service standards.

Staff Supervision
  • Supervise front office, clinical, and support staff.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring employees.
  • Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and scheduling.
  • Provide coaching and support performance improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Patient Experience
  • Promote exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction.
  • Assist in resolving patient concerns and service issues.
  • Monitor wait times and workflow efficiency.
  • Support implementation of patient-centered process improvements.

Compliance and Quality
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, ACR, and organizational policies.
  • Support accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor quality metrics and safety initiatives.
  • Assist with policy implementation and staff education.

Financial and Administrative Support
  • Support revenue cycle functions, including scheduling, authorizations, and billing workflows.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics.
  • Assist leadership in controlling expenses and improving efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

Physician and Referral Relations
  • Maintain positive working relationships with physicians and referring offices.
  • Facilitate communication between providers and staff.
  • Support outreach and service excellence initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare, clinic, or imaging center supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in patient scheduling, workflow management, and customer service.
  • Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Oncology and/or radiology experience highly desirable.

Anticipated salary range: $75,600 - $107.900 USD Annual
