Summary

Energy Transfer is looking for a Supervisor - Plant Accounting to join our Midstream Accounting team in Oklahoma City. We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information and leveraging technology to streamline our processes.

The Midstream Revenue Accounting team plays a critical role within Energy Transfer by connecting commercial agreements, operational activities, and financial reporting across the midstream business. The team is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely settlement, billing, revenue recognition, and reporting of services provided to producers and customers. Through strong financial controls, contract compliance, and cross-functional collaboration, the team helps safeguard revenue integrity and deliver reliable financial information to management and stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
  • Analyze and interpret complex midstream contracts and commercial agreements to ensure correct settlement with producers and shippers.
  • Review customer settlement calculations and adjustments assisting in customer disputes and revenue-related issues
  • Maintain and strengthen SOX controls over revenue processes by developing standardized procedures and documentation.
  • Develop staff through training, knowledge sharing, succession planning, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
  • Lead initiatives to improve revenue accounting processes and system automation.
