Sentara Health is hiring a Supervisor, Patient Accounting to work full time days with the billing and client services department in the consolidated lab.Overview:
The Supervisor, Patient Accounting supervises assigned staff; manages the day-to-day billing and collections (or reporting and audit) activities of assigned area; participates in strategic planning for the department; serves as a technical resource to team members, assisting with tasks as necessary; communicates effectively with supervisor, staff, patients, third party payors and others to resolve problems and/or concerns.
Education- High School education (required)
Experience- Patient Financial Services - 2 years (required)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $62,836.80 - $97,822.40 annually.
Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
