Your Role at BaxterResponsible for Third-Party Logistics (3PL) supplier management and the primary, dedicated liaison between Baxter and the 3PL's warehouse operations. This role is positioned directly onsite at a 3PL warehouse. Represent Baxter's initiatives directly with the 3PL. The Logistics Supervisor optimizes operational workflows, and acts as the immediate point of escalation for issues regarding inventory, orders, and shipping. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that optimize service, maximize profitability, and support business & commercial strategies.
What you'll be doing- Day to Day operations management onsite including working directly with 3PL management to ensure service levels, process execution, and escalations management
- Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain processes, tools and policies.
- Develops, implements, and executes daily 3PL management processes in support of supply chain fulfillment and business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationship with the 3PL by fostering a proactive partnership to optimize performance, resolve issues and develop improvement strategies to sustain Best in Class performance.
- Works with order management, sales & marketing, product managers, manufacturing, suppliers, distribution centers, and transportation, in support of business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationship with Planning & Deployment teams to guarantee inventory levels and optimize inventory costs.
- Leverage IT and analytical tools and resources to address issues and opportunities requiring decision making in support of goals, objectives and normal operations flow.
- Monitor KPIs and use data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Accountable for maximizing service and proactively identifying issues impacting service, in conjunction with fulfillment goals, through distribution.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, including managing cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and regular audits to minimize discrepancies
- Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP's, equipment, policies, and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
- Attend and lead daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews as required
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring- Bachelor's degree in Operations/Logistics or similar degree
- 5 - 7 years related experience.
- Strong business acumen with thorough understanding of all aspects of the business including inventory, transportation, KPI's, and service levels.
- Ability to do analyze data to systematically address complex business issues and opportunities.
- Strong communications skills across all levels and geographies of the organization.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Embraces change, challenges status quo, and makes recommendations for improvements to operations and processes (MIP development & management).
- Strong negotiating skills required.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $72,000-$91,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
